On December 23rd, 1992 14 young men united to form a musical organization called Gamma Psi Funk under the leadership of the four founding fathers: James Woods, Trenai Strawter, David James and Reginald Anderson. The purpose is Academic Excellence, Musical Superiority, Constant Achievement and The Perpetual Improvement of our Musical Surroundings.

On December 23rd, 1996 Gamma Psi Nu was called to order under the leadership of the founding fathers: James Woods, Montavlo Harris, Damone Eason and Reginald Eberhart. The purpose is Constant Achievement.

Our Leadership Team consist of 6 Brothers dedicated to moving the fraternity forward in the same spirit of our founders. They are always planning and executing various programs to keep the life and the energy of Gamma Psi Nu flowing perpetually.
